I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
