Military Reserve Mobilized In Preparation for Nationwide Anti-Monarchy Protests

Protest arrangements across America

Conservative state leaders in numerous US states have assigned National Guard troops on standby preparing for widespread demonstrations opposing Donald Trump and his initiatives.

Rally Scale and Organization

Organizers of the "Anti-Monarchy" campaign declared that events are planned at over 2,500 sites around the country.

As per rally coordinators, the last No Kings protest in June brought out over five million attendees denouncing Trump's political agenda.

Local Measures

State leaders in the Lone Star State and Virginia have publicly activated their local National Guard forces, though the degree of armed forces involvement remains uncertain.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott referenced the "organized radical protest" as rationale for calling up regional troops.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin likewise directed mobilization of the commonwealth's National Guard forces.

Ideological Reactions

Demonstration leaders portrayed the assemblies as challenge to Trump's "authoritarianism."

"Trump considers his authority is absolute," organizers claim on their website.

"But in the United States, we don't have absolute rulers and we will not retreat against turmoil, dishonesty, and harshness."

Several Republicans have termed the protests as "Unpatriotic" events.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall reportedly commented prior to the rallies: "We'll have to get the National Guard."

"Hopefully it'll be non-violent. I'm skeptical," he added.

Opposition Reaction

Opposition figures condemned the mobilization of National Guard forces.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu contended: "Deploying equipped troops to quell non-violent rallies is precisely what monarchs and dictators do — and Greg Abbott just demonstrated he's among them."
