Jude Bellingham Played in an advanced role on the right and put in defensive duties. Displayed moments of class but scuffed an attempt wide. Replaced late on by Rogers, his competition, after being booked. 7

The winger Was presented with England’s top opening of the first half, his effort excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, he had to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from the touchline varied in quality. Taken off late in the match. 6

The captain The match-winner netting two more finishes for his country. The opener a typical poacher’s finish and his next a superb headed goal after peeling away from his marker. Now 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity next summer with him leading the line. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass from a teammate but the keeper kept it out. Rashford made much more of an impact after coming on. Five
