Twenty-four Nigerian-born Young Scholars Liberated More Than Seven Days Post Kidnapping

Approximately 24 Nigerian-born young women captured from a learning facility more than seven days back are now free, the country's president stated.

Armed assailants invaded the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School situated within local province recently, fatally wounding a worker and abducting 25 students.

The nation's leader Bola Tinubu applauded security forces for their "immediate reaction" to the incident - despite the fact that precise conditions regarding their liberation had not been clarified.

West Africa's dominant power has experienced multiple incidents of abductions in recent years - with more than numerous students taken from faith-based academy recently remaining unaccounted for.

Through an announcement, a special adviser to the president asserted that each young woman captured at the school located in the area had been accounted for, noting that the incident triggered similar abductions across further regional provinces.

National leadership said that more personnel will be assigned in sensitive locations to prevent further incidents of kidnapping".

Via additional communication through social media, the president wrote: "The Air Force is to maintain constant observation across distant regions, aligning missions with ground units to properly detect, contain, interfere with, and counteract all hostile elements."
